CharYC is a recognized member organization of US Sailing (841185C). Membership satisfies RRS 75.1(a) when you enter a regatta, and you get a discount on your US Sailing membership when you join through us.
Ambassador program
You lead the vibe. We bring the brand, the crowd and the gear.
Ambassadors host CharYC events around the Bay: social sails, dock hangs, race-day crews. You pick the spot and the pace. We handle the brand, the Heylo chat, the RSVPs and the merch.
You: one low-key meetup a month and a few raw phone clips.
You get: free merch, the ambassador-only patch, and tips from your crew.
You: one bigger event a month and your crew's chat.

Questions
I've never sailed. Can I come?
Yes. Most events aren't on a boat at all, and the sails are set up for beginners. Wear layers and closed-toe shoes, and bring something for the board.
Do I need to be a member to come to events?
No. Come to an event first. Join when you want the discounts, the merch and your title.
Is this a real yacht club?
Yes. CharYC is a member organization of US Sailing, so racers can enter regattas under the club. The blazers are optional. Actually, they're discouraged.
How do I cancel?
Monthly memberships cancel any time from your Stripe receipt. Yearly memberships run for the year.
Can I support without joining?
Yes, tip the club on Venmo. It goes to events and gear.
